Short version: I don't want your data. The long version says the same thing with details.
- Bower collects nothing. No analytics, no crash reports, no account, no update checks.
- Your layouts, workspaces and settings live in one file on your Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/Bower/state.json. Delete it and Bower forgets everything. - Bower uses the Accessibility permission only to read where windows are and move them. It doesn't read what's inside them.
- AI Recipes are off until you set them up. When you press Preview, your recipe text plus the names of your running apps, displays and layouts go to the one endpoint you picked in Settings › AI, and nowhere else. With Ollama or LM Studio, that's your own Mac.
- If you add an API key, it's stored in your macOS Keychain, not in the settings file.
- The code is open, so you can check all of this: github.com/truthofmatthew/bower.
